On that note, you’ll want to make sure that the real estate agents are working with knows what they’re doing when it comes to short sales.
A simple test to separate the sheep from the goatsin this regard is to ask him the following question:
“What is the number one thing that determines whether or not a bank will approve a short sale?”
If their answer is anything other than “What the BPO Comes in at” then you know that you are probably not dealing with someone that has a lot of experience doing short sales.
…oh, and as an afterthought. The second most important thing in getting a short sale approved is submitting a complete package the first time.
